Lake of the Ozarks
Sunrise Beach Safari is a small, family-run zoo in the Lake of the Ozarks area. We provide a hands-on experience that's a lot of fun for kids and adults alike!
We are located at the intersection of TT and MM, not far from the Lake of the Ozarks Community Bridge, in between Sunrise Beach and Osage Beach. Our offering includes a petting zoo from May to November, as well as animal encounters all year round (by appointment only outside the summer season). We're always on the lookout for new animals, so you'll want to come back and see what you might find.

Petting Zoo
Pet and feed all kinds of friendly exotic animals, everything from Alpaca to Zedonk.
Sloth Encounters
Hang out and hold our baby sloth and feed her cucumber and apple slices!
Pony Rides
Kids can ride one of four ponies on our pony wheel. Buy tickets at the counter.

Romeo
A guest named him Romeo because he's such a lover. Romeo is super sweet and loves attention.
Pickles
We got Pickles the alpaca as a baby. He can be a little shy so it's better to let him come to you.
Noah
Noah has a lot of experience with petting zoos. He'll throw a whole cup of a food back if you let him.
Rudy
Rudy is a male red kangaroo. If he's not lazing about you can find him playing with his jumper ball.
